Edgar V Gonzalez went 2 for 5 with a HR and double.
Tagg Bozied doubled twice in 4 at bats and scored a run on a sac fly.
Rick Ankiel went 0 for 4 with 2 strikeouts and a sac fly.
Mike Parisi went 5 innings and allowed 3 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks, striking out 1. 11 out of his 15 outs game via the grounder.
Matt Ginter pitched 4 innings of 1 hit ball, striking out 2.
Juan Encarnacion went 0 for 5 with 2 strikeouts and grounded into a double play.
Colby Rasmus went 2 for 4.
Joe Mather homered yet again, his 10th of the season.
Bryan Anderson went 0 for 4.
Eric Haberer surrendered six runs, only one being earned on 11 hits and a walk while striking out 3 in 5 innings.
Adam Daniels gave up 4 runs in his first inning. He pitched 6 innings, allowing 5 runs (only 1 earned) on 7 hits and 2 BB’s, striking out 4. He also committed an error on a pickoff attempt.
Allen Craig went 2 for 4, his hits were a double and a triple. He currently has a .991 OPS. He also had a throwing error.
Jose Martinez went 0 for 4.
Nick Webber struck out 3 in 2 relief innings pitched, giving up just 1 hit and no walks.
Great Lakes Loons 1 (LAD affiliate), QC 0
The offense was shut down by top pitching prospect Clayton Kershaw, who struck out 7 in 6 innings, allowing 6 hits and 3 walks.
Brad Furnish pitched OK himself, allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 3 walks, striking out 4.
Christian Lopez went 2 for 3 with a walk.
Brandon Buckman went 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts, narrowly escaping the Golden Sombrero.

Hi Michael.
Mather is a big, big guy with plenty of plus power, but he’s raw hitting skills always held him back a bit — he’s definitely off to a great start. He’s upgraded at least to ‘keep your eye on’.

Any thought to doing a monthly recap? Like, a good and bad of the entire month? I appreciate the daily updates, but an aggregate would give me a better sense where and how guys stand.
