• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

  1. Mitch Boggs might be something. King is still inconsistent, but sounds pretty tough.

  2. Nice to see King have a good outing after getting roughed up his last few. I’m hopeful that Buckman will start taking walks in the near future — that could really take his game to the next level.

  3. I think it is also worth noting that Bozied played RF. Could this be a sign of things to come?

  4. Jarrett Hoffpauir is having a really nice season. Turns 24 next month. So is Edgar Gonzalez, but a call up would be in order if he keeps this up.

  5. Hoffpauir’s batting eye is pretty impressive. BB/K rate is 1.63 this season, and it was good last season with 1.32. Good discipline, nice contact ability and from what i hear a decent glove. not a bad mixture for a second baseman. I’m keeping an eye on him.
