Mitch Boggs might be something. King is still inconsistent, but sounds pretty tough.
Nice to see King have a good outing after getting roughed up his last few. I’m hopeful that Buckman will start taking walks in the near future — that could really take his game to the next level.
I think it is also worth noting that Bozied played RF. Could this be a sign of things to come?
Jarrett Hoffpauir is having a really nice season. Turns 24 next month. So is Edgar Gonzalez, but a call up would be in order if he keeps this up.
Hoffpauir’s batting eye is pretty impressive. BB/K rate is 1.63 this season, and it was good last season with 1.32. Good discipline, nice contact ability and from what i hear a decent glove. not a bad mixture for a second baseman. I’m keeping an eye on him.
