• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

5/15/07 Daily Prospect Report

Memphis 2, Colorado Springs 7

Mike Parisi…well, he’s just plain sucked so far. He pitched 4 innings, gave up 7 runs on 12 hits. He’s given up 29 earned runs in 35 innings for Memphis.
Our main man Skip Schumaker had a great night, he went 3 for 3 with 2 walks.
Mini-Pags Matt Pagnozzi went 2 for 4.

Arkansas/Springfield was rained out. Is it just me, or does it seem like they are playing a 10 game series or something?

Game 1

St. Lucie 1, Palm Beach 0

The game was started by Ottavino yesterday but was suspended due to rain after 2 innings. Adam Ottavino allowed 2 hits while striking out 2 in 1.1 innings.
Florissant’s own Kyle McClellan threw 4.2, striking out 4 and allowed 3 hits.
Luke Gregerson picked up his 5th save, pitching two scoreless innings, walking 1.

Game 2

Palm Beach 4, St. Lucie 3

Mark Hamilton is a man on a mission these days after making some adjustments with his swing. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He’s hitting .340/.364/.604 for the month of May so far.
Shane Robinson went 2 for 3 with a walk and a swiped bag.
Allen Craig wears the golden sombrero, he went 0-4 with 4 K’s. After hitting .365/.379/.612 for the month of April, Craig is hitting just .226/.311/.396 for the month of May in 53 at bats.
Jose Martinez went 0 for 4, striking out 3 times. He has just a .583 OPS this season. He also had a throwing error.
Cult favorite super sleeper Trey Hearne has not adjusted well to High A ball. He did pitch 6.2 innings in a 7 inning game. He gave up 3 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks, striking out 2. 5 of those nine hits were for extra bases, 4 doubles and a long ball. He has a 5.10 ERA.

Burlington/Quad Cities was rained out as well.

  1. I think your AAA score may be backwards, if you’re saying that Parisi got shelled.
