IN MY YOUNGER YEARS, THE LATE 40'S AND 50'S I COULD NAME EVERY PLAYER ON EVERY ROSTER (STATS AND AGE INCLUDED) IN THE AMERICAN AND NATIONAL LEAGUE. BACK THEN TEAMS HAD MASSIVE FARM SYSTEMS AND I FOLLOWED THEM ALSO, BUT INFORMATION THEN WAS VERY LIMITED. I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY DONE SOMETHING SIMILAR WHEN I WAS YOUNG IF THE INTERNET HAD BEEN IN EXISTENCE THEN. AFTER WATCHING EVERY CARDINAL GAME ON THE INTERNET, I GO AND CHECK THE MEMPHIS, SPRINGFIELD, PALM BEACH AND QUAD CITY BOX SCORES ( I LISTEN OFTEN TO ONE OF THESE TEAMS WHEN THE CARDINAL ARE NOT PLAYING), BUT ALSO EVERY MORNING I CHECK YOUR SITE FOR YOUR COMMENTS. JUST THOUGHT YOU WOULD MIGHT LIKE TO HEAR FROM AN OLD MAN AND LET YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE DON'T GET TO OLD TO LOVE THE CARDINALS. P.S. I WAS A PRETTY GOOD HIGH SCHOOL AND SEMI-PRO SHORTSTOP BUT HAD A WEAK ARM, I'M GLAD DAVID EXTIENE FOUND A WAY TO OVERCOME IT. He was awful in springfield and now he looks great. He won't sustain a .417 BABIP but what he's doing right now is remarkable. J-rod is finally over the 1.000 OPS line ;) Mike McCoy is killing the ball in AAA- wonder what is so different from AA? He was awful in springfield and now he looks great. I don't know who any of the players are down there, so I've decided to do periodic updates on who's doing well down there. As far as the short season clubs go, I will absolutely include them when they get started up. That will include Batavia, Johnson City and the new Gulf Coast League team. I also plan on keeping tabs on Cardinal players in the Arizona Fall League (or perhaps Hawaiian Fall League) when the time comes. Dan,

Just a suggestion. Also, I assume when Batavia and Johnson City start up you will include them? Thanks, your blog is great. Hey erik/AZ,
