so this is somewhat embarassing. . . did I completely make up the name David Delasco. . .

I’ve used it in previous entries. . . and combinations of Descalso thereupon.

Albeit that there are a lot of prospects but I shouldn’t be this confused about names — it’s kinda what I’m supposed to do. . .get their names right. Ok, Daniel Descalso, Daniel Descalso, Daniel Descalso. I’ve got it now.

Because he was the 2nd best player coming out of the draft this year. Just for reference Lincecum was considered the 2nd best player in last years draft, and this draft is suppose to be better. I would have Weiters the 2nd best catcher, behind Saltalamacchia. Anderson 4th, behind Clement. With Conger being 5th.

Kind of surprised Jaime is that high, I personally wouldn’t have him in my top 50. Brock, is the top 50 list there subscriber info? or free? (if free can you post a link) I’m suprised Conger is even ranked higher than Clement (let alone in the top 50), although after e-mailing writers at BA, I’ve come to learn that they absolutely love Conger and his potential ceiling.

Off topic, but Derek McKamey has his top 50 prospects updated up at Baseball HQ and Colby clocks in at ten, up from 24 at the beginning of the year. Jamie Garcia jumps in at 42 up from 95. Anderson not on the list, but catchers making it are Wieters at 17, Conger at 31 and Clement at 48.
