Apologies for the abbreviated post. A bit of a down night for the system as only the Quad Cities come out on top. Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend — this is the first weekend since school ended for me so I’m trying to have a good time.
- Brendan Ryan 1-for-3 with 2BBs.
- Edgar Gonzalez went 4-for-5. Better than Miles and Kennedy?
- Tagg Bozied went 2-for-4.
- Hugo Castellanos threw 2 scoreless innings striking out 3.
- Juan Richardson went 0-for-2 with a pair of walks.
- Bryan Anderson went 2-for-4.
- Cory Rauschenberger was mediocre for 5 innings allowing 8 hits for 3 ER.
- Nick Webber went .2 innings and was lit up for 5 runs (4 earned).
- Matthew Scherer went 2.1 innings and struck out 2. No hits and no walks — well done.
- Brandon Yarbrough went 2-for-4 with a triple and a HR while DHing.
- Isaias Garcia went 1-for-3 with a double and a BB.
- Trey Hearne went 2.1 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 run and 4 strikeouts. Maybe he’s starting to get things back together in relief.
- Michael Cooper didn’t allow a run!!!! Amazing. He went 2 innings allowed 1 hit and struck out 2.
- Daryl Jones went 2-for-5 with a triple.
- Jared Schweitzer hit a HR and took a walk.
- Arnoldi Cruz, Steve Hill and Christian Reyes all had 2 hits.
- C Nick Derba went 3-for-4.
- Shaun Garceau threw 5 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs (3 earned) striking out 4.
- Kyle Mura and Kenny Maique both threw a scoreless inning. Maiques struck out 1.
- 2B Jose Garcia, C Paul Vasquez, 1B Andrew Brown, LF Justin Roberson all collected 2 hits. Brown had a triple and Garcia hit a double. Marquez and Roberson both stole a base.
- Ryan Riddle struck out 3 in 2.1 innings. The Riddler was one of my favorite Batman villians. . . sorry, was that off-topic.
- Justin Fiske struck out 3 allowing 1 hit in 2 innings.

Dan Jensen: What’s the status of Palm Beach pitcher Mark McCormick? This good prospect has not pitched yet to my knowledge and was supposed to be back in May from winter shoulder surgery.
Joe Strauss: At last check he’s expected to pitch somewhere in August.
