I like how that quote makes it sound like Marti does not require food to survive. He only needs baseball to sustain him.
He does not have a digestive system like normal people because he considers it a weak spot instead his abdominal cavity is pure muscle. His swing is so powerful he simply absorbs energy from it to survive.
Just FYI. I guess the Marti watch needs to be changed now that he is playing in Springfield.
P.S. I think he really should be in Memphis, but I guess there isn’t much room there. Perhaps demoting Stavinoha would jump start his bat and provide a roster spot for Marti?
