Not here — don’t kid yourself — we run a dictatorship. erik is the nice dictator while I’m the one who will probably be prosecuted for blog-war-crimes in an international court someday.
But Derrick Goold has a poll up about who the top prospect and breakout prospect are at AAA and AA. Feel free to sound off on his blog.
[Evil Emporor Erik EDIT] Dictator Erik temporarily colored the blog purple. After last night’s game, I’m officially on the Rockies bandwagon for the postseason. Go Rox!
[erik edit 2] democracy does rule today, i turned it back to red. it was a little weird on the eyes, and i don’t want to be responsible for anyone calling and yelling at their computer company’s customer service

Nice purple color, I like it if the Rox lose will you recolor it?
yes, this is absolutely temporary. whenever they are out, the red is back in full force.
In support of the Angels or Red Sox? I kid I kid.
i’m just fine with the temporary recoloring. that was one heck of a ballgame … just don’t start telling us about THEIR minor league system.
Cardinals have made some changes to their roster according to baseball america’s transaction blog, sometime between Sept 22-28 the following occured:
St. Louis Cardinals
Released: RHP Kris Bakey
Recalled: RHP Dennis Dove, RHP Blake Hawksworth, OF Cody Haerther, OF John Rodriguez
no worries bj, though there are some times i would love to have their young players to talk about
I thought the color had gone out on my monitor! While I like the support for the Rockies, I won’t be sorry when the red theme comes back.
Az-
Sam here man. They just got me this 24″ Dell a month ago. I just started hitting it–repeating, “Gawd Dells are crap.”
That was an amazing ballgame last night. One of the best I’ve watched all year. I was rooting for the Padres but what a way to end the regular season!
I think the red can double as D-Backs red, at least while they’re playing the Cubs.
can we make up a color that represents everyone but the cubs?
I’m rooting for the rox, but anyone but the cubs would be just fine.
I think the Phils need some love from Stl fans. They’ve been coming close, and this year finally put on the finishing kick. They have great young homegrown talent, including Chase Utley, the guy we should’ve drafted with the 13th pick in the 2000 draft.
That said, the sports fans in my area (eastern PA, about an hour and a half north of the Phils’ ballpark) tuned out baseball the minute preseason football practice started. In the gym on Monday I didn’t hear anyone talking about baseball.
Then again, nobody was talking about sports at all, which only happens on a Monday when the Eagles lose. I think the Phils could win the World Series but it wouldn’t matter to local sports fans if the Eagles didn’t win that same week.
I understand it, I think, but I sure can’t relate.
That purple was pretty nice, as are Morales and Jimenez heaters, now everyone gets to see them pitch now that they made the playoffs.
Oh, and just to let people know Project Prospect came out with their top Cardinals prospects today.
