- Luke Gregerson came in on relief of Pomeranz. He struck out 3 over 2 IP, and allowed just one hit.
- Jason Motte allowed a run on 2 hits in the 9th, while striking out 2.
- Amaury Marti went 0 for 2 with a K and a walk.
- Mark Hamilton went 0 for 2 with a K. The big guy is only hitting .182 in the AFL thus far.

- Colby Rasmus went 2 for 4 with a double and a K.
Notably, Perez did not close the game in the 9th.

BA has a recap of the first Team USA game. Rasmus leads off going 2-4 with a double and a walk (I am assuming only 1 walk, there is no box score). His walk loaded the bases after a wild pitch so it probably had more impact on the game then his hits. But still a nice showing.
