Just trying to get a better impression of what people think of him. I know he's not great...but he's never really bad either. I guess the hot/cold reaction to him is a reflection of his averageness. You know the wisdom of crowds and all that. Anyway, averageness (my new made-up word) has its place in baseball and if he can keep it up as he moves up he will be a useful pitcher. (of course, he's never had terrible results either, unlike the other two.) i have a lot of trouble understanding boggs this early. i’m not sure he shows much more promise than hawksworth or reyes. can someone explain him to me? he sits in the low nineties and doesn’t have much of an out pitch, isn’t particularly young, has mediocre walk and strikeout rates, and has never had great results, unlike the other two. Considering up unitl the last week Boggs had an ERA under 2, and totally dominated Team USA. So if you can call him out for that one outing, I will back him up on the month straight that he dominated the league. I really wanted to go with Maiques, but since it seems as though he is out of the running I won't waste my vote. Based on his potential evidenced by his 1st round draft position, early returns (regarded as the best defensive player at his position for his league), and value to the organization... My pick is Kozma. This to me is where it starts to get tough simply because after those top guys there are really few standout players.
