It’s a different look. Not real different, but different. I just got tired of looking at the old one. It’s just another WordPress template. Some of the WordPress themes have custom image headers, I’ve seen some pretty nifty ones out there on different sites that can make for a more unique flavor. Sadly, I’m too cheap to buy Photoshop in order to make one. If any of you wanna make a fancy little image header as a donation to the site, 904 x 160 pixels, I’d be all for it. I can’t say 100% that I’d use it, but feel free to give it a shot if you’re bored on a Sunday afternoon and have some time to kill. You can email them to futureredbirds@inbox.com

yeah, it does look a little familiar.
that template sure has a lot of different features with colors and all, i figure they are not too alike with my brighter red and red links. It’s worlds apart, worlds apart. btw, how did you get that widget with your RSS subscription on there?
Banner size works. I had one that is sort of a square one. But had figured out how to do a better banner one using the same theme. Would we need to include the name or would it show on the side? I will noodle it out this week, but basically it is a Cardinal leaning out of a Delorian throwing a ball at the right of the banner; hitting the ball from a Delorian on the left of the banner (like he went back in time to hit his own pitch); with FRB in Back to the Future type lettering in between.
I believe the RSS, I just got the code from Feedburner, then dropped it into a text widget.
And I agree, worlds apart!
BJM–That sounds interesting. Send some pics before you go too far into it. A name on the art would be nice, but isn’t totally neccessary. but it would be prefered. Thanks!
I will sen a black and white of the square one probably wednesday. You can take a look and see if you like the style of the birds, the car, etc. Again it isn’t as clear as the second idea will be, but it is along the same lines.
