• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

Todd won in a landslide, no shock there. We’re almost done here, down to the final five six . A few good candidates here could be Kyle McClellan, Mark McCormick, Brad Furnish, Tyler Norrick, Cody Haerther, Jon Edwards, Mark Worrell and Eddie Degerman to name a few. Who’s # 25?

  1. Just to nit-pick … Final 6.

    Ill go with the Hooker

  2. Gimme Jon Edwards

  3. McCormick.

  4. Gotta go with the power potential of Edwards.

  5. Degerman

  6. i’m torn. i really liked dew’s stats, but his delivery suggests possible lefty/righty split problems. plus it seems like a real reach on my part to dig someone out of the 14th round with only 25 pro innings to judge him. (yes, i know he’s a bit old for a-, but i feel like age is less important for pitchers, because they don’t really progress the same way as hitters.)

mcclellan gets my vote for now

  7. McCormick……

But I’m gonna throw another name out there that has been lost in the shuffle…Donovan Solano….

  8. I’ll take Furnish

  9. Kopp

  10. hooker

  11. McClellan

  12. Furnish

  13. Tyler Greene

  14. Hooker

  15. Norrick

  16. Jon Edwards

  17. McClellan

  18. Furnish

  19. Arnoldi Cruz. Small sample size and he seemed to wear out at the end of the year, but I liked what I saw with the plate presence. While not being large, I think his swing is tight and the ball jumps off his bat. With additional conditioning, I think he has a nice ceiling of talent.

  22. Hooker

  23. McClellan

  24. Steven Hill

  25. Hill

  26. derba.

  27. Tyler Greene

  28. McClellan. Derba’s not a bad choice though. Like a lot of the latter round ‘07 picks he tailed off at the end but he’s got his defense to fall back on. At the least he could make it as a good field no hit back up with occasional power. Jason Larue anyone?

  29. Derba

  30. Hooker.

  31. dont forget edgar lara he hit 8 homerun in gcl he is 18…..

  32. norrick again

  33. hooker

  34. Degerman

  35. McClellan. Jeez I wish he’d get elected so I could move on to some small sample “I can dream can’t I” type choices.
