Forgive my ignorance but does “cut from minor league camp” = released from organization?

If so, bye bye Mike Ferris.

I’d also be somewhat surprised at Haberer’s release since they haven’t tried him in the pen recently and they having little in terms of left-handed relief.

Dove doesn’t surprise me. They have better relievers in AAA than him. His main calling card was velocity and they may think that his shoulder just isn’t going to hold up.

Ha! I just saw that book “Everybody Pups”. Great read. Except they spelled “Pup” incorrectly.

I really wanna see consistent performaces from Ottavino this year. It seemed like last year he would string together a couple brilliant 6 or 7 inning starts, then implode for 5 runs in 3 innings his next start. I ‘m really pulling for AO. Hope he gets it done this year, really don’t wanna see him turned into a reliever due to control and consistency issues
