that pretty much sums up the story. the little ballerina spins he did rounding first and third was the topper. humorously, in the regionals last year, myself and several friends were one row behind Chase Daniel and several other MU football players in the “higher” bleachers on the left side when that went down…I thought 4 of them where going over the partition to thump that dude. Riot.

also…was in attendance for fri. and sat. games…crow was awesome…yawn, yawn…same old story! no…i was seriously impressed that he kept his composure after having somewhat shaky control in the first few innings (on a fairly cold and very windy night). though he did walk 3 (1 less than his season total coming into the game) he never really got into trouble b/c he induced three double play balls … got stronger as the game went on striking out the side in the ninth. berger looks a little better every time i’ve seen him. p.s. sorry for the f-bomb—dominguez brings it out of me every time

he hit a bunch of homers in the regional at mizzou last year and stood and stared at every one of them, but i think the thing that most mizzou fans hate him for is after one of the homers he taunted the mizzou pitcher nearly all the way around the bases. yes he was a monster that week, but i think what most of the fans wanted was for him to act like he had done it before.

beyond almost single-handedly destroying the tigers in last years’ columbia regional (he hit two homers in the final–good for 7 rbis…and that’s after hitting a game tying two run bomb the day before in louisville’s first elimination game) he also incensed the missouri crowd by brashly trash-talking his way around the bases…the whole crowd was in an uproar and the dugouts nearly cleared….this scene followed the aforementioned game-tying home run…what a [azru edited expletive]

Crow looked really good against a ranked Baylor team…devastating slider location…and then Berger looked just as good the next day. MU has all the makings of a special team…Omaha special…but time (and health) will tell. And on principle, I strongly suggest FR remove that ass-clown Chris Dominguez from this list…most MU fans will second that.

no doubt. he was seen as a mid first rounder going into last year, but he had a down year and slipped to round 2 where the braves couldn’t get him signed. this year he is back to dominating and could be working himself back up in that mid first round range.
