Mueller is a good comparison, as when he was healthy he was a good line drive hitter, but really only had a couple good MLB seasons. I don't see Gillaspie as a big league 3B - not enough power. I would like Gillaspie in the 3d or 4th round, but not as high as people have been talking. I’ve seen Gillaspie play a couple of times, and I don’t like him much, either. College 3Bs don't transition to pro 2Bs, and I don't think you put a supplemental pick into a guy who might work out and be Bill Mueller. I don’t like Gillaspie either. His power will be limited because he's so early on his weight transfer and I think you have to reconstruct his entire swing to fix that problem. I’m not crazy about Collier myself. The guy can rake, and is a candidate to switch to 2B. . .a Wallace/Gillaspie front end of the draft would create ripples in the NL Central around 2010. How about Gillaspie?
